Built for teachers, not around them.

Writing teachers have been told for years that AI would either take their jobs or handle their grading for them. Both stories are wrong. Grading isn’t paperwork — it’s the teaching. The part that should be automated is the re-reading, the tallying, the weekend marathons. Not the judgment.

Ruberis proposes scores. You approve them. That difference is the entire product.

What we believe

  • Teacher judgment is the point. AI suggests; teachers decide. No autopilot.
  • Rubrics are contracts. If a rubric says 5 points, the AI can’t reward anything else.
  • Minimum PII, always. Students can join without email or password. We collect less by default.
  • Evidence over vibes. Every proposed score cites the sentences that drove it.
  • No surprise bills. Pricing is public, plans downgrade cleanly, and grading never gets blocked by a billing check.
